Description: Forest Trends is widely credited for advancing the concept and practical application of “payments for ecosystem services,” an innovation that is gaining widespread momentum as a powerful conservation tool for forests and ecosystems. In recognition of their achievements, Forest Trends were presented with a Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship last week at the 2010 Skoll World Forum in Oxford, England. Congratulations to Distinguished Fellow, Linda Coady, who sits on the Board of Directors of Forest Trends, and who was in Oxford with President and CEO, Michael Jenkins, to receive the award.
