Critics blast new human trafficking education campaign
Description: Government critics are saying that a national campaign to educate Canadians about human trafficking falls short of what is needed to tackle the causes and effects of human trafficking. “It’s good news, no doubt,” said Benjamin Perrin, a professor at UBC and author of a forthcoming book documenting the depth of the problem in Canada. “These are small steps that are filling gaps, but really what is needed is a national action plan.”
