David Santoro, Ph.D.
Simons Postdoctoral Fellow

David Santoro, Simons Postdoctoral Fellow from Fall 2008, completed his Ph.D. on weapons proliferation in Spring 2008 at Macquarie University, Sydney.

A French national, he is associated with the Paris-based Center for Transatlantic Studies and the Center for International Security and Arms Control Studies. He is also a member of the Pacific Forum CSIS Young Leaders Program and a participant in its track-two diplomatic dialogues in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, he taught international relations and international security studies in Australia and worked with the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence and the Assembly of the Western European Union. David will be exploring P5 nonproliferation diplomacy as a major part of his postdoctoral research project at the Simons Centre.
